About Sarah Baker

​

Sarah is originally from La Quinta, CA and came to UC Merced with a B.S. in Biochemistry from the California State University, Fullerton.  In her undergraduate career at CSU Fullerton, she held a Supplementary Instructor position for organic chemistry courses while also participating in Dr. de Lijser's research lab as an undergraduate research assistant.  Fun fact: Sarah also worked at a bakery, decorating cakes!  In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, painting, dancing, and spending some quality time at the beach with her fiance, Nick, and their rescue fur-baby, "Pup."
