The GROUP
The Baxter Lab is an organic chemistry research group at the University of California, Merced. We are located in the heart of California's Central Valley, a short drive from two separate entrances to Yosemite National Park. We occupy a shared lab space on the third floor of the Science and Engineering 2 building. We are currently developing several novel synthetic methods based on metal- or electrochemical-initiated radical reactions. We also utilize in-situ reaction monitoring to study global reaction profiles to better optimize new reactions.
